BA, which was classified by diameter size, is
showed in Figure 3. In all disturbed forest types, the
high value of BA is represented by the small trees
with a DBH of 5 - 25 cm including the majority of
saplings found in the deciduous forest. According to
the maximum value of BA in L area (16.51 ± 1.67
sq.m./ha, table 1) and capacity of the small trees to
growth and stock carbon dioxide, it is possible to
manage the VH, H and M areas for carbon
sequestration.
