In this paper, a real-time implementation method of a
SVPWM algorithm for three-phase three-level NPC converter
is presented. The full algorithm including the calculation of
duty ratios, the selection of the opportune hexagon and sector,
as well as the distribution of the PWM switching sequences is
implemented on the embedded DSP TMS 320F28335 of TI.
The experimental tests carried out a laboratory prototype of
the converter confirm the validity of the implementation
method explained in this paper. In a future work, the SVPWM
scheme will be used in a more advanced control algorithm that
will be developed with the aim to ensure the power transfer
from a PV generator to the power grid.
