1. Maintains payroll information by designing systems; directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data.
2. Monitoring for updates payroll records by reviewing and approving in insurance coverage, Provident Fund, Employee record, Attendant, Manpower and Turn over ratio.
3. Monitoring Pays Salary and benifit oto employees by electronic transfers to bank accounts.
4. Monitoring reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, wages.
5. Determines payroll liabilities by approving the calculation of employee federal and state income and social security taxes, and employer's social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments.
6. Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies.
7. Maintains payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures.
8. Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
9. Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
10. Administers and interprets various labor agreements, administers grievance procedures, and provides labor relations support during contract negotiations.
11. Acts as a liaison between department managers and union representatives.
12. Provides advice and counsel to managers and supervisors regarding personnel practices, policy and employment laws.
13. Administers unemployment insurance processes, reviews liability reports, monitors program costs and recommends policy changes to the director of human resources.
14. Directs the development of staffing strategies.
15. Develops, streamlines and enhances staffing systems, tracking reporting and analysis.
16. Handles college relations and oversees various sourcing and internship programs.
