H-point standard addition method (HPSAM), which is a modification
of the standard addition method, is a simple two
variable chemometric technique. The fundamentals of HPSAM
were outlined previously [22]. This method permits both proportional
and constant errors produced by the matrix of the
sample to be corrected directly. HPSAM also makes it possible
to determine the concentration of analyte in the presence
of a direct interferent and even the concentration of interferent
can be determined. This method has been applied in different
analytical techniques, including spectrophotometry [23–26],
spectrofluorimetry [27], kinetic spectrophotometry [28–30] and
chromatographic techniques [31]. More recently, this method has
been applied for simultaneous determination of lead and tin [32],
ceramic materials [33] and pictorial samples [34] using voltammetry
methods. However, we have not found any report on the
application of HPSAM in kinetic data of electroanalytical techniques
