As I mentioned in talking with Tom we agree this part could also be ground on our CNC Centerless TT8500. Tom suggests the process uses 2 arbors so the customer can load one arbor while the other is grinding. I like this idea. I am not sure of the cost of the arbors but we can pursue this if the customer is interested in our TT8500. One very important thing for us to know is what tolerance the customer makes the ID of their parts. This is important because this is how the parts will be mounted on the arbor. Please discuss with your customer and let us know what they think. This is a good job for us.
