The carcinogenic risk of onsite workers and adjacent villagers
The PCDD/Fs in outdoor air and fly ash were used to assess CR of
onsite workers in DWTC. The CR values of PCDD/Fs for onsite workers
varied from 3.21 × 10−12 to 1.74 × 10−7 with a mean value of
5.7 × 10−9 . Besides, the 95th percentile CR for onsite
workers was 1.27 × 10−8. The 95th percentile CR for teens was much
lower than the threshold value (10−6), suggesting negligible cancer
risk.
According to the 95th percentile CR values, the CR of onsite workers
in DWTC was 64.8 times higher than that of adjacent villagers
