Enhance Your Plant Safety
The traditional approach to SIS valve maintenance relies upon
the full or partial stroke test to indicate whether or not the
valve will operate upon demand. As part of the emergency
valve package, the Fisher FIELDVUE digital valve controller
enables partial stroke testing while the valve is online. It
automatically checks the condition of the final control element
during each partial stroke test. With the diagnostic data
gathered, maintenance personnel can now schedule repair
activities rather than having to react to an unexpected valve
failure.
The excellent stem sealing of the ENVIRO-SEAL™ live-loaded
packing system controls emissions to below the EPA minimum
of 100 ppm (parts per million). It provides excellent stem seal
to help prevent the loss of process fluid and protects the
environment against the emission of hazardous or polluting
fluids.
Standards for safety have become more stringent for control
valves and instruments. The Fisher i2P-100 transducer and
FIELDVUE DVC6200 natural gas certified instruments are
ideal for using natural gas as the pneumatic supply. The
integrated primary process seal enhance safety by preventing
natural gas from migrating to the electrical conduit.
