When establishing what the event is to achieve, organizer identifies why the event is being organized, determines its nature and its scale. It is like routing the way of event execution, trough all stages to the final goal – success. Organizers have to be “SMART”4 when setting objectives so they are specific enough, measurable, achievable, realistic and timely, and consider all stakeholders (customer, suppliers, partners, investors, staff, and external influences) that shall benefit. Meeting the
objectives is more reliable by identifying performance indicators and reevaluating trough stages.
