Peer-to-Peer LAN
• Peer-to-peer LAN consists of a small number of
personal computers (generally 10 or fewer) linked
together.
• One or more computers also may have a printer, a
scanner, or an external storage device attached to it.
• To connect to the peer-to-peer LAN, each computer
must have a network interface card.
• A network interface card (NIC), some times called
network card, is an internal expansion card that
enables a computer or other device to access a
network.
