Every participant said that the support they received on course content and materials was directly related with the
sensitivity of the lecturer. Seyda mentioned that as a prospective teacher no adaptations were made to compensate
her hearing impairment and that she was shy about asking for any. However, Emin stated that there was a strong
communication between the lecturers in his department and the disabled students unit, which definitely benefited
him in terms of making any adaptations.
