Two held in US man's murder
Suri Sukphol, the younger brother of defrocked monk Wirapol, formerly Luang Pu Nen Kham, on Monday reported to the Department of Special Investigation (DSI).
Mr Suri was sommoned by the DSI to testify over his claim that he had a sexual relationship with a woman who claimed Mr Wirapol was the natural father of her 11-year-old son.
Mr Suri said the boy was probably his son.
Col Chachanant Methithammaporn, deputy chief of the DSI's security cases office, said Mr Suri would be questioned about the former Luang Pu Nen Kham's past conduct and assets.
He said the DSI had interviewed five people in two northern provinces. They claimed they had been cheated by Mr Wirapol of more than 20 million baht and had filed a police complaint against him.
Their testimony and evidence would be compiled in a fraud case to be brought against Mr Wirapol, Col Chachanant said.
