Although Stiller has experienced great success with directing, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is indubitably his best work. The film is perfectly constructed and balanced with humor, action and love.
Kristen Wiig and Adam Scott were perfect casting and were incredibly believable in their respective roles and it was great to see a more serious side to them both. Sean Penn, although his character was quite allusive, was brilliant as always.
The story was unique, inspiring and incredibly relatable and engaging. Ben Stiller was made to play and direct Walter Mitty, and although having a unique feel to it, it's the type of film I personally love and want to see more of. The transitions alone in this film were innovatory and make the film the beautiful and artistic piece that it is.
I'd highly recommend this film to anyone!
