Pedagogical considerations of template use in the design process
E-learning systems are often dedicated to only one delivery method – that of a linear, scaffolded approach using primarily text-based content with a few graphics and an occasional discussion. Contrast that with the variability of a good traditional classroom, where students interact in small groups, ask and answer questions, engage in real-life simulation or practice, and may make presentations demonstrating their knowledge in the topic.
