Global Trade Alert. This online database provides information in real time on state measures that are likely to discriminate against commercial interests of countries during the current global economic downturn. The initiative was inspired by the pledge of the G20 countries not to initiate any measure that would raise new barriers to trade and investment. While the commitment was done by the G20, the database includes a broader set of countries. State measures include trade policy instruments and domestic regulations as long as there is discrimination against foreign commercial interests.
