For me, it started with her lyrics. The way she expresses herself. Taylor doesn't cut corners with her music, she tells the story exactly how it is, it is realistic and it is not some typical soap-opera love story. Taylor never holds back with how she really feels. It is real, and it’s why fans can connect to her music so strongly. Her music does not just consist of songs about breaking up with boys, they explain the hurt that we all feel in those times, so descriptively, and so precisely. How many other songwriters can say they were professionally employed by the age of thirteen? Not many. It takes a lot of courage to be so true to oneself in a world that always wants us to be anything other than who we really are. Go Tay!
Extending on that, comes how lovely Taylor is as a person. Did you know that last year she was named the most charitable celebrity of 2012? One very special attribute about Taylor is that she shows her love for her fans. She is one of very few celebrities who actually take the time out for photos and signings. She is a very humble person and treats her fans like friends. She does a lot for her Swifties, and not many musicians even release 16-track albums, or can say they go on world tours for their fans.
