Ground level ozone- ground level ozone is formed by a chemical reaction between nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compounds in sunlight.
Carbon monoxide- it is formed from cars by fossil fuel usage
Lead- it is formed from metal refineries, waste burners, and battery manufacturing.
Sulfur dioxide- it is formed from fuel usage from high-sulfur coal, electric utilities and volcanoes.
Nitrogen dioxide- it is formed from fuel combustion and wood burning.
Particulate matter- chemical reactions, fuel combustion, unpaved roads.
All of these common pollutants cause health defects, mostly on respiratory issues like asthma and lung diseases, but some could also defect the brain, nervous system, and cardiovascular problems.
