In Britain any material that is useless and not wanted is called rubbish or refuse. But in
the United States, it is called trash or garbage.Everyday people throw away industrial
byproducts like bits of metal and other materials that could be saved and used again. However,
with advancing technology, it is possible to recycle and reuse more and more industrial
byproducts. Materials such as iron and steel from old machines, kitchen utensils or furniture,
aluminum from cans of soft drinks or beer, tin from food cans, and plastic from bottles or bags
can be used again through the process of recycling.
