survay: 85% HK women suffer sexual harassment
Hong Kong (Reuter) - A Hong KONG's women group has released a survey showing that 85% of women in the territory have been sexually or abused in the past two years, The South China morning post said yesterday.
The survey, based on a sample of 455 women including housewives, workers and students, was carried out by the Hong KONG council the women.
About 48 % of respondence reported sexual harassment in public, especially on the underground railway, whilr 81% said they had been sexually abused before the age of 16.
