As management, this is not manpower's problem,
I feel we do not want to do this job and we do not want to increase our business.
Firstly, our booking operation will start from only some customer and approx 20 shipment(Booking)
It means 1 x bill of lading issue and 1 x booking per day.
Below is my analysis.
(1)Ocean Export 846 shipment. (Jul.2014 to Dec.2014 this figure by Head office's Com.Report)
It means about 141 shipment per month.
Now, 2 x our C/S handle these shipment, so 71 shipment per month per person
our working day is approx 24 days in one month, so their handling volume is only 3 shipment per day per person
As my undestanting, our C/S export must arrange
(1) Arrange haulage
(2) Booking to OCG.
(3) Contact shipper and receive document from shipper (Export entry input by Customs team.)
I think these operation is not too much, I do not understand why our staff has many OT.
(2)OCB's Import job. total 1,848shipment (Jul.2014 to Dec.2014 this figure by Viparat san's report)
It means about 308 shipment per month
Now, 2 x our C/S handle these shipment, so 154 shipment per month per person.
our working day is approx. 24 days in one month, so their handling volue is 6.5 shipment per day per month
As my understanding, our C/S staff's job.
(1) Arrange haulage (but only order and pass to transport team)
(2) Arrange Customs inspection (but only order and pass to Shipping team.)
(3) Import entry input by OCB
(4) No need to contact customer or shipping company directly. only contact OCB person.
I think 2 person is enough if my understanding is corrrect, because this is just pass the job.
