According to Miles et al., 2000; Silverman et al., 2001, the importance of applying decision support systems (DSS) in e-commerce websites has been widely accepted. A decision support system (DSS) is “an interactive information system that provides information, models and data manipulation tools to help make decisions in semi-structured and unstructured situations where no one knows exactly how the decision should be made”. The traditional DSS method includes use of models, interactive problem-solving, user-controlled analyzing data and evaluating decision alternatives.
