FRAP assay
Ferric reducing antioxidant power (FRAP) of
all samples was assessed following the modified
method of Benzie and Stain (1996). Two milliliters
of sample were mixed with 8 ml deionized water
for 10 min and centrifuged at 3,000 rpm for 10 min.
Each supernatant was mixed with 3 ml FRAP reagent
(a mixture of 300 mM sodium acetate buffer at pH
3.6, 10 mM 2,4,6-tripyridyls-triazine solution and
