2.5. Statistical analysis
A randomized complete block design with three replications was
used to determinewhether significant differences in sensory characteristics
existed among the prawns from the different salt treatments.
Statistical analyses were conducted using Compusense (Compusense
5.1, Guelph, CA) and SAS statistical software (SAS 9.3, 2011, SAS Inc.,
Cary, NC). Analysis of variance (ANOVA)was used to compare response
variables among the different treatments. When significant differences
were identified, individual treatment means were compared using
Fisher's Protected Least Significant Difference (LSD) test. Overall acceptability
