Never in a million years, did Hikari think that her dad would send her to work on a farm! She never did much of anything physical, since they had a maid at their house. Her father was very rich. And she grew up in a big mansion in the city. But then one day, Hikari went to far with her selfishness, and her father lost his temper. He said he was sending Hikari to this island far away. Where she would become a farmer. And learn discipline. Her dad had a very good connection with the mayor in this place called Harmonica Town.
It was the middle of Spring. Hikari had just woken up. She couldn't get use to this hole getting up at 6:00 in the morning thing. There were some days, when she wish she could call someone in the town to go and do the watering and feed her animals for her. But no one would do such thing for her. So she reluctantly got up and got dressed.
Hikari sighed as she watered her poor pathetic plants. She had some turnips and some potatoes. She couldn't stand the feeling of her getting all hot and sticky and usually immediately went and took a cold shower, but just ending up having to get back out again. "Im not even sure im doing this right..." She mumbled as she put the watering can back into her rucksack. She walked into her barn. All she had was a small calf and a foal. Her calf's name was Chi, and the foals was Princess. She fed both of them, and pet them. The animals were really all she had. Even though she hated farming, she liked having the little animals by her side. It was one of the chores she didn't mind doing. Most of the time.
Today Hikari had to go to the Sonata Tailoring. She wanted to buy some new work clothes since her other ones had gotten a little too dirty the last time she was out working in the rain. As she was walking by the Town Hall, Luna was there, standing out side. Luna was a sassy pretty girl who has two long fluffy pink pigtails that had flowers pinned all in them, and was very mean to those that were talking to her if they weren't going buy anything at her shop. Which was the Sonata Tailoring. Unfortunately, Hikari was one of the many people Luna hated.
"Oh heyyy Hikari~" Luna said with a smug little grin on her face.
"Hello...Luna." Even though Hikari's father was rich, she was very shy. She didn't like to be around people she didn't know for to long. But if someone was going to start something with her, she would fight back. She wasn't one to back down from a challenge, but she would try to avoid one anyway possible.
Hikari chose to ignore Luna, but she wouldn't have it. Luna stuck her foot out and tripped Hikari. She hit the ground hard. "Oww." She moaned.
"Haha." Luna taunted, and stuck her tongue out and pulled her lower eyelid down.
"Luna! Don't you know how to be nice to anyone. You taunting people is bad for this islands business."
Hikari looked up at the man speaking. It was Gill, the mayors pompous son. He has beautiful blue eyes and cream colored hair, that he loved to push back often.
"Sorry about that." He held his hand out for Hikari to take. She did and he pulled her up.
"Aww Gill! Your no fun!" Luna complained.
"Your so immature Luna! Grow up." Gill said angrily.
Luna looked on the verge of tears and ran off.
"Whats up with her?" Hikari asked. "I don't know. Shes had a major crush on me, ever since we were little. She messes with anyone who gets to close to me." Then he looked to Hikari, "But i wonder why she upsets you. This is the first time we've really talked."
Hikari nodded. "Well I can see why she has a crush on you. You have beautiful blue eyes." She smiled innocently. Gill blushed. Then Hikari almost died from embarrassment after realizing what she just said.
"Erm. Yeah well i gotta go!" And with that Hikari waved bye to Gill and ran off, and left him staring strangely at her, still have a patch of pink on his face.
