Molecular techniques, such as polymerase chain reaction, randomly
amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) fingerprinting, DNA
hybridization, PCR–RFLP and gene sequencing have been tried elsewhere
for meat’s origin identification. Each of these methods has
their own limitations. Multiplex PCR is highly repeatable, time saving
and affordable than the other mentioned methods (Dalmasso
et al., 2004). Not only DNA sequencing and PCR–RFLP analysis
