1. Introduction
This study aims to analyze the decision-making in the family. This study identifies the person or people who usually makes the decision in the family. There are five categories to decision in the family are as house, car, holiday location, TV programmes and meals.
2.Methods
This survey was conducted among families of the same culture. Five categories were selected for each groups. A total of three hundred families responded to the survey. The raw numbers are shown in Appendix 2. The response were converted into a data of the percentages (Appendix 3).
3.Result
The result show clear different for the five groups. For husband in this culture, about 52 per cent who decision- making to buy car in the family. As for wife, about 59 per cent are make decision the meals to eat for dinner in the family. For Both children and whole family are make the decision to choose TV programme to watch in the family about 15 per cent and 17 per cent as respectively. Both parents make one quarter of the decision about both buy house and choose TV programme to watch.(see Appendix 4).
4.Conclusion
We can draw clear conclusions from this survey. In this culture, husband and wife or both parents are allowed to make many decision. In opposite, children are not allowed to make many decision. Therefore, in the family who have influence to makes a decision are husband and wife. for the others have participate for some item.
