Hello Ink,
Hope you had a good weekend. Thank you for responding to my email inquiry.
To answer your questions:
1. What time does the au pair take care of Parker? Generally, on Saturdays, the au pair would prepare his breakfast at around 8am. As I mentioned, we have worked with the various au pairs we have had in coming up with a Saturday schedule that works for all. So if the au pair has classes on Saturday mornings, we can switch the schedule accordingly.
2. Is it possible to adjust the schedule to a 9-3 schedule. Unfortunately, that will not work for us. Parker is in school from 8:30-3pm on weekdays. So the au pair's shift is generally from 7-8:30am and then 3pm on until around 7:30-8pm. In between, it will be up to the au pair to manage her own time which would include time for her personal matters (such as attending classes, meeting friends) and Parker-related care (such as preparing his meals, doing his laundry, cleaning up his room and work/play areas).
If that is your preference, we will not be a right family for you.
So, having seen these responses, I think you should think about whether this works for you. If it does, then we can proceed to interview. But please let me know one way or another.
Thanks and have a good week.
Best,
Catherine
