Our model studies knowledge sharing and use from a knowledge worker’s perspective
as an indication of success of a KM initiative. In this view, the knowledge processes
are treated at a high level of abstraction. A more detailed approach is to treat
knowledge processes at a much more granular level as some of the other researchers
(e.g., [34]) have done, for example, by treating the nature of identification and vetting
processes, and by analyzing work flow steps that facilitate capture of identified knowledge
as separate constructs. Future research can include these variables to understand
the antecedents of KM success.
