Principles
The Electrolux Manufacturing System seeks to create cultural and operational excellence in
our industrial locations through the application of EMS principles. These principles guide our
journey to excellence by accelerating the flow of value, aligning and empowering our people
and transforming organizational culture.
The nine principles of EMS govern the way that we think and influence our actions on a
daily basis. The principles describe what we are trying to achieve when we utilize tools and
techniques and form the basis or foundation on which EMS is built.
Through building a culture where each team member understands and is committed to
principle-based behaviour, we create a high performing learning organization that provides
value for our customers and shareholders and is extremely rewarding to work in.
