Power Dissipation
The power dissipation of a CMOS device consists of two components: static power dissipation and
dynamic power dissipation.
The total power dissipation is the sum of static and dynamic power dissipation.
Static power dissipation is obtained by multiplying the quiescent supply current by the supply
voltage range.
Dynamic power dissipation is obtained through a more complex calculation described in the
paragraphs below
