Abstract—Compared to the traditional operating system
platforms, smart phone platforms have different infrastructures
and security requirements. Therefore new corresponding
security strategies are also required. In this paper firstly we
analyze the Android applications’ threats and existing security
mechanisms’ weakness. Then we present an extending of
Android Security Enforcement with a Security Distance model,
ASESD, to mitigate malware. The new scheme can be
implemented in an Android phone and make applications
more safe. Our theoratical anlyses and practical evaluations
show ASESD more accurate and highly scalabe.
