The findings of this study could provide the head start suggested by Wingkvist and Ericcson (2011) upon which future research is based regarding studies of mobile learning in science. This study is also beneficial to researchers, funders, educational leaders, policy makers, and other stakeholders as the current studies of mobile learning in science are explained and clarified.
