The ACPY extraction method of Rungs

The ACPY extraction method of Rungsardthong (1995) was used. A 5 g sample was dissolved in 10 mL of distilled water and the pH adjusted to 8.0 with sodium bicarbonate. 150 lL of collidine
solution and 4 mLof diethyl ether were added to the mixture and shaken using a Vortex mixer
(Genic 2 model G560E, Scientific Industries Inc., NY).
