of at least “moderate” severity. The strongest effects were seen for anxiety and the smallest changes for fatigue, although a 43% reduction in fatigue is clinically relevant. There was no evidence of an attenuation of effect at high baseline scores. For example, an approximate 45% improvement in pain scores was seen even in the 244 patients with baseline scores of seven or above, and in the case of anxiety, improvements were always close to 60%, regardless of baseline score.
