This study examines retail businesses in Wisconsin currently having an effective e-
commerce strategy implemented. These businesses do a major portion of their retail sales
through the Internet. The study examines the different approaches these companies have taken
towards e-commerce and identifies the problems encountered. A comparison is made of the
initial to the existing e-commerce strategy in place. The progression of the e-commerce strategies
for these businesses is discussed and the strategies are compared for effectiveness.
Recommendations are made as to how they may enhance and build upon the existing e-
commerce strategy.
