To test whether the pollen behavior differed depending on the
number of anthers used for hand pollination, two-way ANOVA was
performed with pollen adhesion and pollen germination as the
dependent variables and the number of anthers as the independent
variable. Differences between groups were determined by the
LSD test (P

0.05). To establish a possible correlation between the
number of anthers used in hand pollination and pollen adhesion
and germination on the stigma, Pearson’s correlation coefficients
at the 0.05 significance level were computed.
