The results in Fig. 7 indicate that the antagonist significantly
(P < 0.05) reduced disease incidence compared with the control. After storage at 25 ◦C for 4 weeks, the water control showed 74.6%
decay incidence, whereas the citrus fruit treated with strain SG-6 had a green mold decay incidence of 23.3%. After storage at 6 ◦C for
4 weeks followed by 25 ◦C for 2 weeks, the water control had 68.1%
decay incidence, whereas the decay incidence of the citrus fruit treated with strain SG-6 declined to 34.4%. The result also showed that though the strain SG-6 significantly reduced disease incidence
but not as effective as imazalil at 300 j-Lg mL−1 in all storage condi-
tions
