Recently some studies concerned the control of P. canaliculata, including physical control, chemical control biological control, and the natural products approach.
All of these approaches have achieved some progress, but they all focused on the juvenile or adult snails.
Although some researchers have studied a few of conditions on the hatchling rates of P. canaliculata such as inbreeding , and water submersion, none of them systematically examined how serious these factors affect the hatchling rates and hatchling duration and how to use these conditions to really control the spread of P. canaliculata.
