2.2 Model formulation of the air-conditioning system
components
The Base-model including all components of the
air-conditioning system is shown in Fig. 1. For modeling
purpose, the component is classified into capacitive type,
resistant type and the duct. The room and chamber box
are classified into the capacitive type. The capacitive
type is expressed by transfer function decided only by
design information. The air conditioning machine,
volume damper, HEPA, filter, heater coil, filter box,
motor damper, CAV and VAV. They are classified into
the resistant type. The resistant type is expressed by
explicit function decided also only by design
information. The duct is a distributed parameter system.
It cannot be handled directly by MATLAB.
