Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said on Tuesday his plans to attend the United Nations conference on climate change in Paris remains unchanged despite the terrorist attacks in France.
The 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference, better known as COP 21, will be held in Paris from Nov 30 to Dec 11. The host French government has not deferred the meeting in the wake of the lethal attacks on Friday night. Gen Prayut said he will attend the meeting to show confidence and support in the French government at a time of the national tragedy. The terrorists killed 129 people.
