As for the lead time associated with shipments from Harris to Sambo Shindo. We have been able to reduce that significantly. As you know we have agreed to stock inventory (just for you) of this special Sambo Shindo material. Therefore the transit time is the only lead time, and we will help you plan according. If we can confirm the monthly usage needed we will keep a running supply arriving to you each month. Your manufacturing (base) pricing has been established and will not change, the total price will automatically adjust to the current metal markets only.
As for the issue of invoicing in your currency: I have discussed this, once again, with our Harris Products Group Director of Finance. As we have mentioned earlier, we at Harris Mason only invoice in USD. I would like to get a better understanding of your needs. I realize with the current strong dollar, it would be to your advantage. However as currency fluctuates, there is always a risk for both sides. We have this same situation with the copper and silver market fluctuation. In the long run, we consider that it is usually a break even, throughout a yearly basis.
Are you faced with a standard bank fee for the currency conversion? If so can you advise this information. I am trying to gather all data possible, in order to see if we can accomplish your request.
Our Finance Director says he would consider talking to our Lincoln Electric Corporate Officials, if I am able to provide commitment for future beneficial business.
