The purpose of this study was to assess the effectiveness of Brain-Based Learning (BBL) method in chemical safety training. The study compared results of learning between traditional classroom style and BBL, using the test of chemical safety knowledge issued by Occupational Safety and Health Bureau, Thailand (OSH Thailand) to evaluate the learning effectiveness. This experimental design research involved volunteer sampling of 60 learners from chemical industries located in the central part of Thailand. All samples were randomly taken and allocated into two groups; an experimental group (BBL method) and a control group (traditional classroom). Each group consisted of 30 learners. The results indicated that the BBL approach was more effective than the traditional classroom approach on chemical safety learning in workplace. BBL not only increased the learning achievement of safety knowledge on chemical users but also provided both trainers and learners’ better understanding from each other aspects.
