Firstly, euthanasia is equivalent to intention of killing, which is indubitably sinful. Unlike the natural process that determines the death of all creatures euthanasia strongly goes against the nature. Any persons involved with committing euthanasia are considered the murder and those are obviously infringing the five precepts of Buddhism. It is stipulated that anyone who is taking lives of all living being is violating the first of five precepts of Buddhism. Look at canine or feline, they never ask for someone to end their life with intention all love their lives and determine to live as long as possible.
