The high food value, prophylactic and nutraceutical effects
of fruit juices supported the growth of the request for these
products. This had an important effect on the development
of new tendencies in the juice industry with the aim to offer
to the consumers products with high nutritional qualities and
appreciable organoleptic value (Bucic-Kojic, Planinic, Tomas,
Bilic, & Velic, 2007; Sanchez-Moreno et al., 2004).
