Thus, thermal
pretreatment could be considered as an effective method to promote
the recycling ofKW basing on the above advantages analyzed.
From the viewpoint of waste-to-energy, waste cooking oil is one of
the attractive and available recycled feedstocks [11], and the conversion
of this huge amount of waste oil into the fuel not only could
eliminate the environmental and sanitary impacts caused by the
harmful disposal [13], but can significantly reduce the total
manufacturing cost due to lower price compared with virgin
vegetable oils [14]. In addition, basing on previous work about
physical and chemical properties and various utilization methods
of solid phase and liquid phase ofKW with thermal pretreatment, it
is necessary to conduct the research on the influence of thermal
pretreatment on the reuse of waste oil as a resource, thus a complete
overview of the effects of thermal pretreatment on subsequent
utilization of KW could be achieved.
