Additionally, Classrooms in University-Affiliated School Project (SCiUS) has the special requirements for the students in the project. One of the requirements is that the students in the Classrooms in University-Affiliated School Project (SCiUS) must achieve the standard grade average. Each semester, the student grade average must be at least 2.50 of all subjects, and must be at least 3.00 for math and science subjects. If theirs grade average cannot meet the minimum of the requirements, they will be on probation. However, they still have the chance to higher their grade average in the next semester. According to one of the students in the project, there was a student failing the stated requirement. This student failed again on the following semester. The student’s grade average on math and science subjects was less than 3.00. The failure sharply affected the student’s mind. Not only about the study problem, the student got the stress towards his/her family, and friends, and had anxiety for facing the coming examination. If the student failed again he/she wouldn’t have personal expenses support from the project according to the regulation between the school and coordinated University. As a consequence of the connotation stated above, I was curious to investigate self-adjustment of the student who had study problem by conducting the case study of : Self-Adjustment of Student with study problem in Science Classrooms in University-Affiliated School Project (SCiUS).
