The detection and quantitation limits for each arsenic species were calculated by LOD ¼ 3 sm
and LOQ ¼ 10 sm , respectively. Where s is the standard deviation of 10 measurements of reagent blanks and m is the slope of the calibration curve in the best experimental conditions. The LOD of As3+ and As5+ were reached at 0.004 and 0.005 lg/g, while LOQ were calculated as 0.011 and 0.017 lg/ g, respectively. The linear range of the calibration graph ranged from the quantification limit up to 50 lg/l for As3+ and As5+.
