● 0 = Work environment not appropriate, very dangerous and not managed for employees. Safety a big concern. Supplier does not have programs to maintain fire detection, suppression equipment and adequate exits as required by regulations.
● 1 = Majority of the work environment not appropriate or maintained for employees and dangerous, temp not adequate for employees, poor equipment/process flow layout, and no fire detection or supression.
● 2 = Most areas have the appropriate work environment and they are maintained for employees. Housekeeping is not stable in all or some areas but environment is safe.
● 3 = All work environments are appropriate and maintained. Areas are clean, well lighted, temperature controlled, adequate safety equipment, and appropriate fire detection, suppression equipment and adequate exits as reuired by regulations.
● 4 = All of level 3 plus, 5S maintained by employees in their specific area(s).
