CCM Project Team,
As Co-Program Owners of the Configuration and Change Management Project, Jahid and I want to applaud you and thank you for making the last few weeks a great success in preparing for and evaluating of the selected PLM providers for our future Configuration and Change Management tool.
We know the amount of time you have dedicated to the success of this project from the many hours beginning with the review of the Request For Quote (RFQ), to reviewing and enhancing the test scripts, to the many hours, which for some late into the night, evaluating each supplier as they presented their PLM solutions to the test scripts provided. Throughout you have stimulated great discussions and further clarification of the needs of your group. As we continue through the remaining steps of our plan, I believe that "we as a team" are approaching a joint decision as to the best PLM provider that we can all stand behind as the best solution for the company today and for tomorrow.
Jahid and I both want to encourage you to continue supporting the project through these last few steps towards making the final selection of our future PLM provider. So please if you haven't completed your test script analysis, please do so as your rating is your voice in making the final selection. You will also receive an online survey to record your results that we will roll all results into a final selection that we will review with you in the near future. This step in our project is exciting as we are so close to making that final selection signifying the end of this phase of our journey and on to the next phase.
As we proceed, Jahid and I have one word of caution. We want to reconfirm that everyone understands we are still on a "gag" order preventing anyone from speaking to any of the PLM providers regarding this project's status or providing any additional information with respect to this project.
Now that the PLM providers have presented to you they are familiar with the participants of the extended project team elevating the need for all of us to understand the need to remain with the "gag" order on. If contacted, please redirect their questions back to the project managers/owners, Debra Cree and Senthil Kumar, or to Jahidul Khandaker, or myself. At the same time, we would like you to notify us if you are contacted so that we can address it with the provider preventing others from being contacted. Our goal is to ensure that we continue to have our project operate in a transparent environment and that we eliminate any opportunity to have our project questioned for "unfairness" or some other negative connotation. Unfortunately, we are susceptible to negative accusations coming forth, so as a team, let's continue operating in a positive transparent environment for the betterment of you and the company.
Again, we want to thank you for all your efforts and want to encourage you to continue in these last few steps to making a selection of our future PLM provider. At the same time, offer you our support if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank You!!
