Nam looked slightly down and closed her eyes. Her breathing became calmer and deeper. She was fully aware of the quiet movement of the air from her mouth to the lungs after a few breaths and back. One moment her thoughts wandered off. Tomorrow it was her birthday. She would soon be notified. Imaginary Nam shook the thoughts away. She concentrated on her breathings. Her thoughts were gone. She thought only of the air flowing through her lungs. Her lungs moved quietly. After a few minutes Nam felt the tranquility come over her. She smiled. Slowly she opened her eyes and looked at her Buddha statue. The light from the candles on the coffee table bounce off the Buddha statue. Buddha smiled at her. Nam saw the eyelids of Buddha move. She hesitated, then shook her head. In her mind the explination came up. A short but happy smile appeared on her face.
