In the present study, there were three limitations to be recognized. First, this study utilized a convenience sampling method that limited the generalizability of the findings across population. Secondly, subjects were predominantly male, and female patients were under represented. This demographic characteristic of the sample also limited the ability to generalize the results of this study beyond the sample. Thus, the results of this study should be interpreted with caution because of the non-random sampling technique and the demographic characteristics of the sample. Lastly, all of the factors that may influence the health behaviors, especially those pertaining to patient education including education time, contents, and professional and family support, were not considered simultaneously in the current study. Thus, the findings of the present study are lim-ited in representing the conclusive factors of health behaviors in patients with CADs.
